I purchased my king size Ergo Flex memory foam mattress on line in Jan,09. It's been over 6 months and I want to say this mattress is perfect. Honestly I was a little nervous about ordering a mattress through the internet in the first place, but after some research and reading all these positive comments here I decided to give Ergo Flex a try. During my contact with Ergo Flex customer service, I found the team very honest and informative , all my enquiries were answered within 24 hours and most importantly they weren't trying to tell me what I want to hear. I'm glad that I made the right decision and bought a right mattress. If any of my friend's looking to buy a new mattress I'll definitely recommend Ergo Flex.

I chosed Ergo Flex memory foam mattress because I can't afford a Tempur. I always wanted to buy a memory foam mattress to improve my sleep and also tried tempur mattress out in stores...but there's no way for me to spend over £1200 on a mattress. Luckily I got my Ergo Flex memory foam mattress on sale which only cost me £400 something. And this Ergo Flex mattress is great, it supports and molds my body amazingly. I used to wake up with a stiff neck, but one night on Ergo Flex mattress, the stiffness' gone. Now every morning I wake up feeling afreshed, I don't think I will ever be apart with my Ergo Flex mattress.

I was recently diagnosed with cervical spondylosis and already have arthritis and have been considering buying a memory foam mattress for a while. I could not afford a Tempur mattress so I was looking for another make that would be as good as I could afford. I discoved the reviews for Ergo Flex and I was so impressed that I ordered a king size straight away. I have not been dissapointed. I have had it three weeks now and I look forward to laying on it every night. I tend to sleep more on my back than I used to and I think this is due to not tossing and turning all night. Every part of your body is supported. The communication was first class and delivery very quick. I had read that there is a very strong smell from the mattress for a while but I did not find it unpleasant. I definately made the right choice.

The site made it very easy to purchase the mattress with all the necessary information to hand.I was notified at regular intervals as to where my package was and when it would be delivered. We are so pleased with our Ergo Flex Memory Foam matress and the super service we experienced when buying it on the web from Ergo Flex ! The matress was delivered within two days, vacum packed with advice on how to handle it and how to care for it. Prior to our purchase I had inquired re how long the matress coudl be rolled up vacum packed, as we were overseas, and was informed that it would not be good for the product any longer than a couple of months. It is the most comfortable matress we have ever slept on, and we have also tried the Tempur matress a few years ago, but that was a thinner matress model. This matress is 21 cm thick and very comfortable. I would be happy to recommend Ergo Flex as a company and their memory foam matresses to anyone. Remember how many days of your life you spend in bed !

Ergo Flex memory foam mattress - bought from ergoflex.co.uk I did a lot of research prior to buying one of these. The reviews on this site went a long way to convince me to take a gamble, despite me being somewhat suspicious of the amount of great write-ups. Well you never really know if they are from genuine customers or not.... But anyway, even with the few complaints about being too firm, too hot, too smelly and not "re-inflating" properly, I ordered a king size last week. Cost £400 in the sale, roughly half price according to the web site, and 2 pillows for £70 (also half price). Communication from Ergo Flex was excellent; the mattress was delivered on my chosen date, and in good condition. The mattress was restored to its full size approx 30 minutes after opening. There was a very faint smell to begin with, but it was not unpleasant and is no longer noticeable after 5 days. The mattress itself is VERY comfy, not too firm for me. I can lie in any position without getting a sore back, which is great. I actually spent the whole day in bed yesterday, just because I didn't have to get up. I had read that it gets very hot sleeping on one of these so i took the precaution of buying a very thin duvet (4.5 tog) to avoid overheating. Of course this is down to personal preference, but these mattresses definitely make the bed warmer so some bedding adjustment may be required. So, I have had the mattress for 5 days and I love it. I really feel that my research has paid off. I ordered a single version last night for my son, and have already recommended these mattresses to friends and family. The pillows are also very comfy, although i dont think i would have paid the full price of £70 each for them. A bit disappointed at having to buy the pillows in pairs, even when buying a single mattress, but I aready have a buyer for the extra one :-) Its too early to comment on durability, but at this point its one of the best purchases I have ever made. So far, I dont have any negative comments to make on this, and that is very unusual !!!

We love this product and after researching and trying beds like Tempur this one felt better. My wife has back pain but has found it more bearable when sleeping on an Ergo Flex mattress. Also a lot of firms could learn from the way the staff handle queries. By the way this is completely a 100 percent genuine rating as I also wondered if the ratings were genuine before I purchased the product.

Dealing with Ergo Flex was such a pleasure. And what amaze us the most is the mattress itself. Words are simply not enough to decribe how comfortable it is and how much it has helped us to improve our sleep quality. No more sleepless nights! Ergo, I want to give Ergo Flex a big thanks here! I have a chronic back condition and have tried various forms of mattress including the visco-elastic genre. I have used the Ergo Flex for 12 months and I have to say it is the best mattress I have used.period. My wife feels the same. DO NOT PAY A LOT MORE FOR THE OTHER MORE RENOWNED -they are not as good and therefore bad value in comparison. The mattress has not lost any of its support or resilience over the 12 months. The construction of the mattress is very good, I have owned others that have sagged after 6 months, it isn't just about the top visco-elastic foam the structure if the supporting layer is key and the Ergo Flex is excellent in this regard.

We bought superking size Ergo Flex mattress a few months ago now and i haven't got a bad thing to say about it!it is very firm, and by that i mean we can have a full glass on it and get onto the bed and the drink stays put! brill for those who like mattress very firm and perhaps not the best choice if you prefer soft.my husband had backaches for a couple of weeks after switching from springs to foam, but now loves it! i am pregnant and loved the mattress from day 1 at about 16 weeks and now at 34!we also bought the pillows, which are hard and heavy. my hubby hates it apart from when he uses it behind his back to sit more upright.i on the other side love the pillows also!the service from Ergo Flex was great too!

Compares very well indeed with spring interior mattress in the £800 bracket. Very high comfort level, better support, no linkage across the bed by springs and wires, so almost total isolation for each sleeper. Cooler than many spring mattress's.

Heavy to lift and move, two person job. Manufacturing odour takes some time to disappear, but not harmful or irritant. I have Asthma and some allergies but was not affected by the reducing rubbery smell in the first few nights.

An Ergo Flex double 4'6'' mattress has been in use by my wife and myself for two weeks. We are both in our 60's and suffer lumbar spine and hip pain, in my case from Osteoarthritis. By the end of the first week of use both of us were sleeping better, deeper and longer. We were waking better refreshed, with much reduced spine and hip pain on waking up compared to recent years. This is in spite of the hottest temperatures and most humid nights for some years. This greatly improved sleeping comfort and pain relief has continued, and we cannot see any signs of the mattress sagging or deteriorating in any way. We are happy to strongly recommend the Ergo Flex mattress to anyone who may be considering buying for comfort, or because of back or joint pain. The Ergo Flex website and ordering system is a delight to use, and the mattress was delivered as precisely as requested. Top marks to the company.

We ordered an Ergo Flex Double Bed Size mattress in February, 2009 and for the last 4 months or so, we've had wonderful sleep. The bed is relaxing, welcoming and a joy. After suffering with hip and should aches and lower back pain whilst in bed I decided to buy the Egoflex mattress. After the first night I managed to get out of bed without the normal aches and pains, could not believe it! I've been using the mattress now for 2 months and do not have anymore discomfort when getting up in the morning. I only wished I had purchased the mattress a long time ago instead of putting up with all my aches and pains.

I read a lot of reviews and talked to a lot of people before purchasing my Ergo Flex double mattress. This was a major financial outlay for me but it was worth every penny. My back problems have diminished dramatically and I cannot express the luxury and the superior experience of sleeping on memory foam. I have seen several reviews that complained about the chemical smell on the new mattress. It is definitely there and went gradually - not in 24 hours, but over a couple of weeks. It did not bother me though and the incredible improvement in my sleep pattern far outways such a small and transient inconvenience.I am sleeping through the night for the first time in years. Ergo Flex service was excellent and I am absolutely thrilled with the product.

Ergo Flex memory foam mattress is superb. I've been sleeping on one for over a year and my sleep has improved a lot, no more toss and turn, no more backache in the morning (I even hate to get out of bed in the morning), and it's not hot in summer. We bought this Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress having tried a variety of 'sprung' mattresses over the years. We were a little sceptical about how a 'foam' mattress might work, but I'm delighted to say it's been amazing.It's hard to put your finger on what's going on, but there's a sense that the foam cradles you. The slightly odd sensation of sinking into the first inch or so soon dissipates, and it just feels wonderfully snug.I have a dodgy neck, and I've had no trouble with it at all since I started using this mattress.

Overall I am really pleased with my mattress. I have had two back operations following a sporting injury to my lower back a number of years ago and I had been experiencing chronic stiffness, back pain and pain in my legs after a few hours of being in bed. I frequently would be up and walking round the house in the early hours trying to get rid of the stiffness/pain. Since sleeping on this mattress, I no longer have stiffness and chronic back pain - fantastic. The Ergo Flex memory foam mattress is firm enough not to let you really sink into it but at the same time it allows you to sink in enough to give you that vital support along your body shape whether you lie on your side, back or front! The mattress was very reasonably priced and it came with a clear and fair guarantee. I bought it using the internet. Ergo Flex was very efficient and kept me informed about the progress of my order. It was a bit smelly due to the mattress treatment but this was explained in the literature which came with the mattress and the smell disappeared after a few days.( I could have washed the cover had I had a real problem with it. ) It did take several days to get used to the firmness of the mattress as my previous one was really soft in comparison.

After 4 weeks of use, we will never go back to a sprung mattress again.It felt very strange at first and we were sure we would really miss our electric blanket. After sleeping on the Memory Foam Mattress for a week or so I have to say both me husband and I were delighted. It felt very flat when we first lay down but within minutes we felt warm and so comfortable, your whole body is supported with a warm kind of softness. It's just fantastic. We only wish we had discovered your mattresses years ago. We will recommend Ergo Flex to all our friends and family.

Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress are absolutely superb...both product and service. Ergo Flex delivered promptly (even 1 day early and I live on a Scottish Island which most people do not have a clue where to even look for it...), they kept me informed and where fantastic to deal with. Due to circumstances I had to keep the mattress packed and rolled up for 2 weeks before I could use it but that did not harm the mattress at all. I have now been sleeping on it for just under a week and it is heaven. There was a little smell but not a problem at all. It doesn't get too hot and it doesn't swallow you up as some people have suggested on other sites. I had been reluctant for a while to splash out £400 for a mattress but this was one of the best buys I have ever done. (got the spring sale...)

The Tempur beds are wonderfully alluring, dressed up beautifully in high end stores such as Selfridges. It's all very amusing testing them out as it's like sinking into a big stress toy. But considering I have rented flats since University and never bought my own bed, £1300 just for a standard sized mattress makes these slide on to the ultimate wish list. Not anymore.After looking at new latex, memory foam or spring mattresses I made my mind up. Very quickly you will discover when researching Memory Foam mattresses online that all are far from equal. As of 2009 the prices for a double range from £210 up to the Tempur at £1300!!! Lots of different manufacturer's name, lots of technology babble. Getting to test a few in a showroom reveal that the lower end of the range feels just like a lump of foam to the high end providing really interesting firm support and comfort.Enter Ergo Flex. These folks are the only distributors of their own product and only sell online (you can order on the phone, but it takes slightly longer to process your order). The website is spot on, giving you all the specs and comparisons to Tempur mattresses (which come out about even). I liked the way they pride themselves on not selling Memory Foam top sheets (toppers) and they believe this is just a cheap gimmick. They really seem to be trying to beat Tempur at their own game.Ok, so I meant to spend £200 on a new alright mattress. Ended up spending £410 on an Ergo Flex double with two pillows and delivery. To me that is quite a lot. Did I get my money's worth? I think I got a real bargain. After testing it is indistinguishable from Tempur and offers a firm but plush nights sleep. Ordering was easy enough. I also called as I really needed it the next day delivery. the operator sounded worried as it can be 48hrs, but took my name and I think it greased a few wheels in the background (great service). Mattress arrived 8:30am the next morning. Oh man, this thing is quite heavy. The mattress comes up quite large and I had to squeeze it a bit to get it in the frame, but now fits snugly. It expanded from packing in about 20/30 mins, but instructions say give it a few hours to really fill out. Yes there is a smell from the Ultra Fresh anti-bacterial coating (a little like freshly dried paint, not very strong), but this has gone now two days in. I've had a few great nights sleep on it and all in sundry have called round to sit on it and poke it to much amusement. Like everything in life that is well made, it has regulated my sleep much more, organized me a bit better and created a bit of wonder in the everyday things we do.Sleep can be fun.

Kept me well informed re; my purchases and delivery - bought a king size mattress and a single for one of our children. Once we'd all slept on them for a few days ended up ordering another for our other child. Just brilliant! Had a few issues with the second mattresses delivery via a courier but all resolved without to do.

We had always thought that the more one spent, and the greater the number of springs, were the necessary requirements for a good mattress and were therefore sceptical about how a 'foam' mattress might work. However I'm delighted to say that the Ergo Flex has been amazing. An excellent buying (and sleeping) experience from start to finish. I was kept well informed about my purchases and delivery - we bought a double mattress for our spare room to begin with which was delivered in less than 24 hours. After we'd slept on it for a few days we ended up ordering a King Size and another double which, again, were delivered in less than 24 hours. Fantastic! I made an e-mail query about placing the second order which was fully answered within two hours on a Sunday afternoon and then a sales person called us back on Monday morning..that's service!

What can I say that hasnt already been said - fantastic ! I bought a single mattress for my daughter (she is 18), who had been complaining of a bad back and not being able to sleep very well. I was a little apprehansive with teenagers being so fusy - but I needn't have been, after her first night on her new Ergo Flex mattress her comments where 'Idint like that new mattress' my heart sank, she smilled and said 'its far too comfortable, I dont want to get out of bed'. the customer service was next to none, the order process, information on state of the order and delivery where brilliant. I just cant wait until I can justify buying my self a new mattress.

Recently suffering from an irritable disc problem coupled with an ancient bed and mattress, I thought I'd invest in a new bed and decided on Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress after lots of research. As with everyone else's experience, the sevice is first class and many company's could learn a thing or two from them. The mattress was delivered promptly - in a rectangle box approximate 1.5m x 0.5m (for the double). Once opened, the mattress fully inflated within hours. The smell which goes away after 3-4 days reminded me of a paint smell, so not too bad. The mattress itself? Very comfortable I find. Make no mistake it is on the firm side, but for me its a happy medium in that it is initially on the firm side but you 'sink/mould' into it and is very supportive. You are not going to be bouncing anywhere... Only once have I found the mattress a little hot and that was within the first week. Its been over a month now and I've not felt hot since, even with my girlfriend in the bed during this hot spell. Is it the best thing since sliced bread as other comments would have you believe? Not quite. But nothing can possibly live up to the hype. I should be old enough to realise this by now. BUT it is a very comfortable and supportive mattress that does exactly what it says on the tin. What more can you possibly ask for! Even my girlfriend who swears by her M&S mattress likes it. Praise indeed! As for my back, it hasn't miraculously healed overnight. A good mattress, physio etc etc will do that... but I'm much less stiff and sore in the mornings. I've noticed i don't toss and turn like i used to, and I now sleep laying on my back. (Previously I could only sleep on my front). Personally I'm more than happy with the mattress and the fact I picked it up during the sale for half price only re-inforces what a bargain i feel i've got. Recommended!

The Ergo Flex website is hugely informative, but I always like to speak directly to assess an on-line company and I was hugely impressed by the prompt and helpful replies to my calls. I would recommend this mattress to anyone. I wasn't sure how I would get along with the pillows as they seemed less inviting, but once your head hits the pillow you are away in the land of dreams ... So wonderfully refreshing to receive such friendly and efficient service. Very helpful telephone advice and delivered as promised. Only two nights on the new memory foam mattress, but already I am finding it difficult to drag myself out of bed in the mornings and considering my last bed was a Vi-Spring, that is some compliment!

I have just bought an Ergo Flex Superking Memory Foam mattress to replace a similar sized conventional pocket sprung mattress to be used on a pine bed frame with slats, not a divan base. I had to put the Ergo Flex on top of my old mattress until I could arrange for the latter to be taken away. Having done so I find I like this arrangement and intend to keep it that way because, being partly disabled, the combined height of the mattresses makes it much easier to get in and out of it. Ergofex say this arrangement will not me detrimental to their mattress.I have had the best nights sleep in years since it arrived and the comfort is amazing. I cannot speak too highly of Ergo Flex Ltd. or its mattresses. From start to finish I was treated extremely courteously and efficiently and all my queries were answered promptly.

TNT weren't the most helpful in terms of delivery time, but it did arrive safely. When wrapped it is heavy, but can be lifted by 1; easier with 2 especially up stairs. When unwrapped it's awkward too (no carrying straps like most 'standard' mattresses. The "unpleasant smell" which is often mentioned is best described as a 'wet paint' smell. If it bothers you greatly, remove the outer cover and wash, plus leave the mattress to air for a few hours. Ours was fine after that. We also got 2 pillows - WARNING: these are VERY thick pillows - if you use a thin or no pillow (like my wife), suggest you avoid! If you use a thick pillow (or two, like me), then they are great!

We are very happy with the Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress. We got it delivered on the 16-th April, and Ergo Flex contacted me by email about the delivery well in advance. The email contact with one of the company's representatives has been very good.The first night on the mattress was a funny experience, as it did feel very hot, and there was the smell of the freshly unpacked foam;-) From then on it's been plain sailing.The mattress is very comfortable and adjusts well to your position while sleeping. No more tossing and turning to find the right position (I sleep on the side most of the time).Overall, I think this was one of the best presents I got for hubby and myself, and would definitely recommend it.

"After contemplating purchasing a memory foam mattress for quite a while, I finally decided to do it. After looking on the main competitors website and being shocked at the prices, I decided to look for other options. I found the Ergo Flex website and after looking at all the information and the excellent reviews, I decided that I had found what I was looking for and the price was perfect - especially with the discount that was on offer at the time. I purchased a king size Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress and at the time it was not in stock but I was fully kept informed all the way until delivery. Once my mattress arrived, I carefully unpacked it and followed the instructions, letting it air for a day or two. (There was a slight smell to begin with, possibly due to the manufacturing process but this soon disappeared). When I first tried the mattress, it did feel a bit strange to begin with but I very quickly got used to it. It is a very comfortable mattress - in fact the best I have ever had! As I work shifts in my job, my sleep patterns are all over the place! Simply using the Ergo Flex mattress has given me better sleep and as it is very comfortable and fully supports me, I generally don't feel as tired. Also, on a positive note, I find that I don't get too hot in bed, compared to friends who say that they sometimes get 'too hot and sticky' with their memory foam mattress. I read other peoples reviews before purchasing a Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress and decided to go ahead. as soon as I had placed an order I had an E-mail back. I E-mailed them to arrange a specific delivery date which was confirmed by the time I'd made a cup of tea. When the delivery arrived I was missing a pair of pillows, so I E-mailed them saying tthey were missing and that I would also like to order an extra pair of pillows. They got back straight away via E-mail and arranged another delivery date. I was then phoned so I could give card details for the extra set of pillows, I was not charged for delivery it was included with the missing items. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the customer service is second to none. I would certainly buy from this company again.

Impressive quality at a very competative price from Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress. Very good sales and after sales service. I have suffered with lower back problems for years. It was this, and the fact that our matress was due for replacing, that prompted me to look at Memory Foam type matresses. I am the sort of person that will research products to exhaustion before purchasing. I trolled the internet and shops, looking at various manufacturers and their goods. I came across Ergo Flex via the internet. Their web site was well laid out, clear and informative. The claims regarding the specification of their matresses being similar to other well known brands at significantly higher prices were bourne out by my comparisons. Any phone or email interaction was dealt with by the company in a professional and efficient manner. The matress was delivered vacuum packed as described. It inflated within several hours. The smell that many customers described was very apparent, and required the bedroom to be aired. The odour although deminished, remained, but was not offensive. The quality of finish was very good, and first impressions were high. However, looking forward to our first nights sleep, we were very dissappointed. The matress was too firm. Some reviews mentioned how uncomfortable it can be, and a period of adjustment and perseverance is required before one becomes used to the very different mechanics and attributes of memory foam. We continued to use the matress for the following four nights. My wife began to experience shoulder and neck pain, and my back became worse. Reluctantly we admitted defeat and returned it to Ergo Flex without a problem, for a refund minus a collection charge. We used their own couriers, as they were the cheapest having compared prices of several other companies. I am sure its still a great matress, it just does not suit everyone.

Firstly, the service we received was excellent - very efficient, professional, and a real change from the norm. First impressions of the mattress were very good. It arrives in a box, rolled and sealed. It took little over an hour to fully 'expand' and looked and felt very impressive. It did smell, but more of a 'new' smell than anything. This abated in a few days. It's been a real revelation in that I no longer have to take anti-inflams as soon as I wake anymore, and this is a routine I have followed religiously for 3 years! My back has always been at it's worst in the mornings, and this mattress has completely turned this pattern on it's head. If anything I now feel it later in the day. I'd recommend this mattress to anyone, whether it be for clinical reasons or simply to get a better nights sleep. The Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress was bought on recommendation by my osteopath and from appearing expensive initially looks like one of the best investments I've made. If only I'd known sooner...

I have been thinking about how to ease people fears about ordering a mattress from Ergo Flex and I think I may of come up with it.Before I start I do not work for Ergo Flex or have any connection to them (other than buying a mattress that is) and they have not contacted me to write a review.I, like no doubt many others looking at this site, was worried about ordering a £400 mattress from a company that had no way of showcasing its' wares.I did all the research I could and decided to place my order. I was disappointed that I had to wait for a month for delivery (hence not 10/10) but the pillows arrived the following day which gave me a little more confidence.The mattress arrived today as promised and despite not sleeping on it yet it seems to be all the website described.Now the way to convince is not by the number of positive reviews on this site but the lack of negative ones.Admittedly some people have not found them comfortable to sleep on but this is not the fault of the mattress but the customers preference.All deliveries seem to have been fulfilled and the vast majority of customers seem happy and in my books that seems like a good thing.Looking forward to sleeping on my new but smelly mattress tonight!I hope this helps.

Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress and pillows are extremely comfortable and excellent value for money. Could easily have paid 3-4 times the price for similar quality. Because of demand had to wait a few weeks for delivery, but sale price was honoured. And the wait was well worth it - this really is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The pillows weren't delivered with the mattress as they should have been, but a quick e-mail to Ergo Flex and they were there the next day. Courier service only drops inside your front door, but the packaging does make it easier to manhandle up the stairs than a normal mattress.Great service and great product.

I have only had the Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress for a week and already it has changed my life. I have been a back pain sufferer for over 20 years. I do all the right things-back exercises, tai chi, watch my weight etc. And yet, every morning I used to get up with an ache in a different area of my back. Since I have been sleeping on Ergo Flex, I wake up revitalised. The mattress is heavy. You sink in just enough to be comfortably supported. Having trawled the internet for the 'perfect' mattress I came across Ergo Flex - people always say you should try before you buy but lying on a bed for 5 minutes in a store is not the same as getting a good nights sleep - that is something I have not had for years - coupled with the fact I am now in the dreaded menopause with those hut flushes! So on arrival we opened the package to find a very thin flat sad looking mattress - however after just an hour we were fully inflated and ready to go! It was amazing how much the mattress came up - it felt very firm when we first lay on it but after a couple of days I can fully recommend it! No more backache, even helped with the hot flushes! First time I've slept right through the night for as long as I can remember. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this mattress. Oh, and the staff are very helpful too! What more could you want!

After reading a lot of reviews and researching mattresses in general, a sale at Ergo Flex tipped the balance and we purchased a super-king mattress. It arrives vacuum-packed and rolled up into a tight tube, and smells very strongly of chemicals when it's first unrolled, although this completely disappears after a couple of days.After having slept on it for 9 months, I cannot recommend it strongly enough. Don't hesitate - just get one. It took a few days to get used to (it's quite different to a typical mattress and has no bounce, which at first is strange) but I wouldn't go back to a spring mattress if you paid me. Since buying this I haven't had a single restless night, I've never woken in the morning with aches because I 'slept funny', and I can even sleep on my side without my lower arm going dead (your mileage may vary here, I'm pretty lightweight). Even getting out of bed in the morning is easier. They're also very, very warm (we had to swap to a thinner duvet, even in winter!).I should mention also that we had previously tried one of the cheaper mattress 'toppers' you can get - there's no comparison, the mattress topper had no discernible effect. The full mattress is something else entirely.Considering the amount of time we'll spend sleeping in our lives it now seems ridiculous to sleep on anything else. They are expensive but they're an investment you won't regret, and knowing what I know now I would have purchased without hesitation even if it hadn't been on sale.

Having got someone to carry it upstairs for me, I thought I would just lie the box on the bed, roll the mattress out and slit the wrapping and bingo, it would unroll into position. Then I realised it was packed so it unrolled with the underside on top! I could hardly credit it at the time - it meant I had to woman-handle on my own to turn it over (and it is fairly heavy!). I was pretty cross at the time, not to say hot and bothered, but I forgave all when I slept on it that night!

I fully understand people's caution at buying a Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress- such a high value item without trying it. I did lots of research into foam densities etc., and then I cheekily went off to a bed shop, lay on some other foam mattresses and asked lots of questions about foam and structure so that I had some idea of the comparison. It was clear that Ergo Flex products were very high quality and good value, so I took the risk! I have not regretted it. I used to have really restless nights so I never felt rested. I was often wakened by discomfort in my shoulder and hip. I still wake up at intervals but I sleep for longer in between and much more deeply, with my spine comfortably straight and no pressure points. It has eased my back problems. My back used to get worse overnight but now it gets better overnight! Also I managed to put a rib out last week and it was extremely uncomfortable and painful. I was dreading trying to sleep on it, but I soon found a comfortable position on the mattress and slept perfectly well. In the morning the rib seemed to have settled down, and has been improving ever since! Perhaps it would have done in any case, but I do believe the mattress helped.

Customer service was absolutely second to none, we've never had better, with Ergo Flex altering the date of delivery to accommodate a hospital admission. Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress is a quality product. Excellent communication. Having only recently heard of memory foam and not requiring it for any medical reasons I was a little concerned that it may feel synthetic, have an unsettling give, feel claustrophobic or take a time to get used to. Excellent communication regarding delivery. Now I have it. There is an initial foam smell and takes a day or so to go, it's not unpleasant. The bed itself is quite firm but soft and very comfortable. The supported feeling is a challenge to describe; think of the supported feeling of lying in snow, lying on a quality carpet, lying on a deep foam mattress, lying on something solid and secure and it's something in between. Your whole body is supported, wriggling is a thing of the past there's no roll and yes it gives a great nights sleep. I'm another very happy customer and would recommend to all.

I brought a single Ergo Flex mattress for a replacement for my son's bed and after reading reviews on the internet. I was slightly anxious of buying on-line without being able to 'try out' the mattress however it was worth every penny. The mattress is vacuum packed and unrolls to a very impressive depth, there is a slight chemical smell which disappeared in one day. I have previous brought another make of foam mattress which gave me an asthma attack, no problems with the Ergo Flex.The customer service surpasses itself and out passes any other good experiences I have had with companies.The mattress is so comfortable and it truly is the best mattress I have ever brought. Buying my mattress was a breath of fresh air in comparison to many previous 'online' transactions. The service I received was exceptional - personal, prompt, professional, and most impressively, honest and very informative. Then the mattress - delivered only 28 hours after purchase, I was certain we had received the wrong thing. When I opened the box it was rolled tightly appearing only a few inches thick - I was sure they'd sent me a topper. The box said 'mattress' so we opened it and watched it unfurl - very space age indeed. However I was confident that it would never reach 8 - 9 inches. But sure enough, a few hours later it was nearly there, and seemed even 'fuller' a couple of days later. It was bliss to lie on, no doubt. But my first night wasn't the best I'd have to say. In fact it took almost a week before the switch flipped and I suddenly acclimatised from my previous sprung mattress. From that point on we've had the most comfortable and enjoyable sleep ever. We've had it just over 3 months and I would never look back to a spring based mattress - this is definitely the way forward. A wonderfully comfortable mattress which we couldn't now do without - worth every penny!

This a really good company to deal with. I telephoned to ask about stock status at 1700 on Friday. The young genteleman who took my call immediately said that he didn't know the exact answer but that someone would call me back immediately or email. By 1800 I assumed that it would be Monday. I was emailed at 22.35 (on Friday evening) with a precise answer! When ordered the mattress arrived very quickly. A couple of days. Yes, the mattress has an odour when opened and purchasers should allow for this. Leave it a couple of days, jump about a bit on it and then wash the cover. The smell will have gone completely within a week. From a comfort perspective it takes abut a week to reach 'the promised land'. My back ached terribly for a couple of days and I had doubts. However, from day one I slept very soundly and have not snored since.After a week I would place it in the category of things I would least like to part with.Great product, great company.

From the first night we slept on our Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress we have enjoyed blissful sleeps. I used to get up around 5.30 in the morning because I had no desire to ly-in any longer, now I stay in bed until 7.00 because the mattress is so comfortable.I noticed an immediate decrease in my hip and back pain and the improvement is noticable daily I must comment on the alleged "odour" that other users comment about.I have a keen sense of smell and must say, sorry folks but I just get a slight "new" smell from the Ergo Flex ! A person who is quite frail and relies upon the momentum achieved from the roll & bounce of a normal mattress when moving in bed, may have more difficulty in turning or getting out of a memory foam mattress without having something else to pull on. I believe that this may be the case with any memory foam mattress, not just the Ergo Flex.

After reading so many positive reviews, I was initially hesitant about buying an Ergo Flex mattress because it seemed too good to be true - but I am so glad that I did. Although it took a few days to get used to the lack of bounce, I have experienced a good night's sleep since day one. I have also noticed that my husband's snoring appears to have lessened and his sleep pattern is more settled. The mattress is not only wonderfully supportive but it also becomes incredibly warm within a matter of minutes after getting into bed - so much so that all fears I may have had about not coping without an electric blanket, have been alleviated. Most importantly for me, after having suffered from arthritis for a number of years, I normally take painkillers as soon as I wake up but since using this mattress I have found this to be unnecessary. Praise must also be given to the service itself - it was friendly, professional and efficient+++ - I was already using my new mattress within 48 hours of having ordered it.

Iur child is severely physically disabled and normal medical mattresses were not sufficiently alleviating in terms of comfort. This will not be a long narrative (you would soon get bored).As with a lot of people I was apprehensive about purchasing such a large item over the internet. How would I return it if it was not suitable? Before committing myself I decided to contact Ergo Flex by phone. I was informed that the sales team were busy so left my number. To my surprise the call was returned promptly. I was provided with comprehensive and informative information to my questions. Clearly the person I was speaking to knew the product and was confident enough about it to tell me the advantages and disadvantages. Having placed my order I had reason to contact Ergo Flex once again. I had forgotten to order pillows. On this occasion I spoke to someone else who too was very helpful and provided me with the information I required. The order was dispatched and arrived just as I was told it would. No fuss, no nonsense. Full marks to those involved and from my experience I would not hesitate in recommending both the company and the product to other people.

The bed arrives vacuum packed so enabling it to be delivered in a box which is really clever allowing for ease of transportation. As for the bed itself, i have only been using it for a week but I have already notice my back pain dissipate and this only after a few days sleeping on it! It's so comfortable you won't want to leave your bed in the morning it really makes a big difference to my sleeping habits. All in all I would highly recommend Ergo Flex mattresses which undercut so called premium brands while providing same levels of quality and performance. What a great mattress - even better than expected. After even the first night we really experienced the difference. It looks and feels fantastic, and provides superb support for both - my husband and I have a difference of 9 stone between us. No more feeling like being on a ship when he gets up, or in to bed. In fact, I hardly feel him moving at all - perfect! The mattress feels fantastic to touch and sleep on and is simply the most comfortable thing either of us have ever slept on - and we have had mattresses which cost a great deal more than this, even 8 years ago. Very neatly boxed and 'space age' packaged, ordered Sunday evening and received it 8am on Tuesday. All round a very good purchase and excellent value. Very happy!

We have had our mattress for nearly 3 months now. I wanted to wait until we had experienced the mattress for a while before forming a public opinion. The reason we got a memory foam mattress is because my partner has a chronic back condition & my theory was that this type of mattress would allow his spine to lay where it wanted to be rather than being forced straight on an orthopedic bed which we had before. The reason we got an Ergo Flex mattress was because it came highly recommended by a work colleague. We in turn have recommended it to others. Yes it did smell at first but that was not a problem & it has gone away now. It wasn't an unpleasant smell & it didn't bother us. My partner says that it does give him a better nights sleep but does not completely relieve his pain at night but he says that his back is now easier during the day. Myself I love it except for the heat factor. It is nice & soft & welcoming & I don't turn over as much as I used to. Even harder to get up in the mornings now!!

I've had 2 tempur mattresses in the past but I can honestly say that the Ergo Flex mattress is by far the superior one (and for a fraction of the price)-I now can actually look forward to getting a good nights sleep without a hint of the arthritic pain I used to suffer with using tempur, when I think of how much time and money I've wasted using tempur when Ergo Flex was the answer to my dreams I could scream! We bought the Ergo Flex double mattress and took up the offer of two pillows for half price. Total cost less than £500 compared to well over £1.5k for a Tempur. This mattress is very very comfortable, doesn't get too warm. Having graduated from a spring mattress it took a couple of days to get used to the fact you cant 'bounce' into a new sleeping position. My partners snoring has stopped as well which i think is due to the fact we got the pillows which are a bit hard at first but rapidly become very comfortable. The service from Ergo Flex was good although when phoning to get the number of the delivery people when we had missed the delivery they said they would phone but chose to email instead, luckily i have a blackberry but it would have been nicer to speak to someone. Cant really fault it although the only thing is that the bed is actually a little bit bigger than a double so the sheets are tight. Marks out of 10: 9.5 Finally when you get one it comes in a sausage roll that when you unravel it its only an inch thick. Then you take it out of the wrapper it expands to 9inchs thick. Very clever, anyway I'm quite sad so enjoyed watching it grow. Suggest you get it in position before unwrapping as its a cumbersome thing to try and move or rotate if you don't!

Since replacing our mattress with the Ergo Flex and replaced our pillows as well with the same material, we have had a decent nights sleep. I could not sleep on my right side because on a neck problem and now I find that I can again, my wife who has a back and shoulder problems can relax and sleep better. I am confirming that the product is as is stated in the advert and excellent value for money, the only drawback is I wished that I had purchased them earlier. Now we can get a decent nights sleep.

I bought one of these things before Christmas and I can honestly say it was one of the worst purchases I have ever made. It makes my back ache, it's hot and I haven't managed to get I good night sleep in it since I bought it. It's like trying to sleep in quicksand. I am now sleeping in the spare room until we can afford to purchase another mattress. What a waste of money.

It comes packed tighter than a 'swiss roll'' & then keeps on expanding till a fully formed mattress is born. The 'cool layer' is vital with a foam mattress, so it's a another win for Ergo Flex.

The smell that pervades for a day or two but that is obviously all the various chemicals used to make the mattress anti-bacterial etc, but it's gone now so it's worth keeping in mind that an open window for a day or two is a good idea.

The mattress is a joy to sleep on & I know it's a cliche but I AM sleeping much better. The mattress is actually firmer than you would imagine with the lumpier stickier out parts of the body sinking into the foam thereby allowing the spine to be supported at all times. For the last few years I've been sleeping on an expensive orthopedic mattress (too firm - not enough comfort) topped with not one but 2 featherbeds & while they were lovely to sleep in as they cocooned the body I was ignoring the fact that my body was suffering - I was waking up feeling discomfort if not actual pain sometimes due to what I now see was spinal mis-alignment due to the spine not being supported throughout the night. It's a pleasure to get into bed at night - sometimes I even think about the mattress in the day time, my body seems to crave the comfort & support it gives. My expectation of the mattress after my feather beds was a skewed one so once I'd given the mattress 3 nights the benefits & superior support became obvious. I'm going home for 2 weeks this summer & already I am dreading the thought of having to sleep on an 'ordinary' mattress and whatever that may mean for my own personal comfort, it may prove more detrimental for my back. Another interesting thing (for me anyway) is that I only need one old fashioned pillow - not the 2 I've been using in the past which I attribute to all those lumpy boney bits sinking into the deep foam. It is also good to have the 'cool layer' because I can see that without it summer nights in London (especially if you're always on the warm side) would be a sweaty affair. I really appreciate that the lady I dealt with didn't try to flog me memory foam pillows - I actually rang her specifically to order them seperately & she advised against them and I now see why & that she was 100% right, she was also great about getting back to me re: delivery times. I ordered the mattress on the Wednesday afternoon & had it by 10.30am on the Friday. So a big thank you of appreciation from me to all those at Ergo Flex !

We have had our mattress two weeks now. Kept it in a well aired room, kneeled on it every day as recommended by Ergo Flex and still it really reeks. I slept on it last night for the very first time. Comfortable it may be but I, my night clothes, my bedding and pillows all now need washing as they now all smell dreadful. Do not buy this product if you have kind of sense of smell unless the company changes it ways and pre-airs it or something? The smell is truly disgusting.

I like to do my research before I buy something and to buy a mattress that I haven't even tried is somewhat of a gamble. However, we were sleeping on an Ikea mattress with a mattress topper but the toppers only last for two years and then they need changing. So rather than spend £120 on a new topper I decided to look around for a better mattress. I've always liked the idea of the tempur mattresses and a couple of our friends have them but I couldn't quite bring myself to spend £2k on a mattress. I stumbled across Ergo Flex after reading the tempur reviews and someone had recommended them as an alternative. I am really pleased that I took the gamble and bought one. For the first few nights I did wonder if it made any difference because I still had aches and pains but after two weeks they've all gone and I can't wait to get in my bed! It's almost like my old mattress was pushing all my bones out of place in my body and the Ergo Flex mattress has put them all back gradually.

Been needing a new mattress for ages, and recently upgraded our old double bed to a rather lovely kingsize - and wanted a rather lovely matttress to go with it. Previously tried out a Tempur mattress in a showroom and found it incredibly comfy - especially important as I suffer a bad back. Initially shopped around for Tempur and shocked at the prices. Then tried out cheapy imitations in other showrooms, but nothing was the same. So, I noted the magic "ingredient" was "visco-elastic". A quick Google later led me to Ergo Flex. I was impressed by their honesty on the website by daring to make direct comparisons to Tempur. On every count they matched - layers, materials, density. The only massive difference was the price. A kingsize in their spring sale set me back £399 - cheaper than the cheapy imitations but seemingly the same as Tempur on spec. Ordered on a Thursday lunchtime and asked for a Saturday delivery (as I work in the city). I received 2 emails immediately. One with an invoice, and one with a payment confirmation, On Friday, I thought I'd phone to make sure it was coming that Saturday. I called at 5:30pm and decided not to leave a message as I'd assumed they'd gone home. Then to my surprise, they call me back! Such a friendly call too, said he'd check and if he didn't call back, everything is fine for tomorrow.Got home to find that I'd actually been emailed during the day anyway confirming the Saturday delivery - and the email even included a consignment number. The mattress arrived at 9am on the Saturday by TNT courier.Unrolled the mattress onto the bed frame. As explained in the instructions, it starts out vacuum packed at only 3" deep, and about a foot too short. So left the room ventilated and went out for 4 hours. On return, it was fully inflated and a perfect fit the the bed frame. The chemical smell did linger for a good few days. A week later there's a tiny bit left, but really worth enduring as it's so very comfortable.I cannot set it apart from the Tempur mattress I tried out in a showroom. Same feel, same comfort, apparently the same layer & depth. Just about £1,300 cheaper with incredible customer service. The past week I've slept better than I have for months and months. Going to bed is now a luxury rather than an essential.Better still, when I registered my warranty online, I left a compliment in the comments box. A day later, I received a personalised email thanking me. You just don't get customer service like this anywhere these days.I cannot recommend this company and their products enough. I'm considering getting the matching pillows now.

My fiance and i were looking to upgrade our bed also our mattress,we shopped around and found we liked the memory foam mattresses as they seemed very comfortable.Unfortunatley the particular one we liked 'tempur' were quite expensive and we were not prepared to pay £ £ £ £s for a mattress.We shopped around but could not find any mattress near the spec of the 'tempur',until i found the Ergo Flex website.Too good to be true i thought,so we searched the internet for reviews from buyers,this in turn convinced us to take the plunge and order our mattress form Ergo Flex at such a fantastic price.The mattress and pillows were dispatched in 24 hours,received in perfect condition and very well packaged.Beware the packages are very heavy,a sure sign of quality,even the pillows weigh quite a bit. The mattress and pillows do smell a bit but after a few days the smell dissapears. We have not looked back and would never buy a traditional sprung mattress again,we have never slept so well.Its nice waking up of a morning with no back ache and feeling refreshed for the day ahead,i never thought a mattress would make such a big difference!! The Ergo Flex in our opinion and having tested tempur and other brands(tempur being the best),the Ergo Flex mattresses are exactly the same,if not better in our opinion than the tempur mattresses. After having a look around the internet I came across Ergo Flex and was firstly impressed by their website and then by the good reviews they seemed to get. Bit the bullet and bought a king size and it arrived promptly. We are very pleased with it and my husband is very impressed with the temperature control element it seems to have - i.e. he's never too warm as with our previous standard mattress. Would definitely recommend! Worth every penny!

You can tell the mattress is a top quality item. The way the item unravelled itself after being vacuum packed in only 2 hours and sat there perfectly with its luxurious top cover suggested this was money well spent. Great to sleep on too.

You have to adjust from a sprung mattress it does feel quite strange at first. Hasn't been tested out in summer so can't tell you if it's too hot to sleep on.

Delivered in the morning on the base and slept on that night. No more roll together, fidgeting to get comfortable, used a memory foam pillow on a sprung mattress and found it too flat, used with the memory foam mattress it's a perfect combination. No problems with getting too hot as others had said may be a downside of a foam mattress. I tried the Tempur mattress in a local bed shop to see if I liked the memory foam mattress, not because I wanted to pay the £1800.00 they ask for it and read the reviews for it on this website someone recommended the Ergo Flex mattress which to be honest I hadn't heard of so I read the reviews for that too you can see for yourself the rating comparison. The smell of chemical when the mattress arrives can be quite overpowering. It does fade with time, but would recommend you have it delivered in plenty of time before you dispose of your old one as it's a bit overwhelming initially!

Would highly recommend this product, 2 months into it and we love it. It does get quite warm sleeping on it, but then this is clearly identified on the web site and it encourages you to work through the adjustment period. I'm a cold body so it's perfect for me! We have probably saved money as we turned the bedroom heating down. This product appears to be of equivalent quality to the tempura matresses (as my mother in law owns one) at almost half the price.

For a while I have been thinking of investing in a good quality mattress. I did my research on various brands and products and read all the reviews about Ergo Flex right here on this site. The price sounded great and the quality of the memory foam mattress seemed to be well tested by many members of the public. However, I like firm mattresses and without having an opportunity to test it first I thought long and hard about this purchase. Customer Service at Ergo Flex is second to none. I am certain they would succeed with any business, because of the way they treat their customers and potential buyers! This is rare in the UK in my experience and therefore deserves a special mention. I have had the mattress for almost a week and am very happy with it. My friends also commented on how comfortable it is. There is a chemical like smell when you first unpack the mattress but the staff explained it is not toxic or allergic and soon it should go. I washed my sheets and cover after the first 2 days and I can hardly smell anything any more. The mattress is quite flat when you unpack it but don ' t worry, within an hour it expands to abound 20 cm thickness. I am very pleased with my purchase and am sleeping noticeably better.

It has taken me a few months to post my review here, as a result of the teething problems with one of their shipments which meant having to wait for a replacement mattress. However, the customer service provided by the UK staff was excellent and the problem rectified, and after 5 months or so, I'm delighted with the mattress. It spreads your weight perfectly, and is very cosy but not cloying or restrictive. It is a great "balance". Regardless of the price, I think this would be difficult to top.

Don't hang around just get an Ergo Flex mattress! The service from Ergo Flex was first class and our mattress was delivered as promised. We were even provided with the actual time of delivery which meant we did not need to hang around all day waiting for the delivery. The mattress is wonderful and there is a sense you are floating when sleeping! We looked at Tempur but this is without doubt as good and at more than 50% cheaper.

We both had not been sleeping well and decided we needed a new mattress. We hesitated to pay the sort of money that a Tempur mattress costs, and whilst Googling for ideas came across the reviews on the Ergo Flex on this site. There were no bad reviews, and we asked around for personal views and were convinced that an Ergo Flex would suit our needs very well, and the price was very reasonable for a mattress with a 10 year guarantee. Delivery was fairly prompt, and it comes in a cardboard box. When opened and the shrink wrapping is removed, it uncurls itself and expands over the next few hours. So what's it like? Bliss!! It does mould itself to you. There is no 'bounce' in it, so when I turn over I no longer wake my wife, and there is no drifting to the centre like with a conventional mattress. We both now get a good night's sleep, and where before I got up early as I was aching, I now stay in bed far longer. Thanks to Ergo Flex for a good night's sleep.

I look forward to going to bed each night since receiving my Ergo Flex memory foam mattress. I did loads of research before choosing Ergo Flex, and they offered the best quality for the lowest price. I was worried about putting down a deposit while waiting for stock to come in, but within 2 days I received an email to say they were in, and within 6 days I was sleeping on it. Customer service were so helpful, and despite me plaguing the customer service agent with my calls due to my own anxiety of buying on the internet, she remained professional and helpful at all times. The mattress is the full 22cm, and despite having cervical and lumbar spondylosis I am now pain free in the mornings when I wake; even my stiff knee pain has gone. I don't toss and turn, and I actually feel as if I am sleeping on a pocket of air. I love it! I have been after a memory foam mattress for some time, but I couldn't quite commit myself to spending about £1800 from the leading brand. I came across Ergo Flex and did a bit of research, and I decided to go for it. Luckily at the time they also had a sale on, and I eventually paid about just over £400. I ordered it on a Sunday night and I got an email Monday morning saying that due to a supply problem they could not fulfil my order straight away. So I was given the choice to have an immediate refund or wait a few weeks and Ergo Flex would honour the sale price and also include 2 complimentary pillows worth £140 for the inconvenience. I chose the latter option, and I am glad I did. Ergo Flex customer services kept me informed at all stages, and it was a joy to deal with them. In this day and age finding a company that takes customer services seriously is a rarity in itself. Well done Ergo Flex.

This is a great product at a very fair price, and thanks to the other reviewers who led me to it. We had to wait a long time for the mattress because the company had this problem with the vaccum packing of one particular shipment and had to recall the entire batch (appropriately). The delay was very well managed by Ergo Flex, who kept us very well informed and offered clear choices. The mattress itself takes a day or two to adjust to, but is undoubtebly the most comfortable one I have ever slept on and I really look forward to sleeping on it, with a clear reduction in my lower back pain and general aches and pains. Overall, very satisfied and no hesitation in recommending it - will be buying another for my daughter. Staff at their office was particularly helpful and pleasant to deal with.

This is my first memory foam mattress and my initial reaction after just over a weeks ownership is bliss!! I am a keen rugby player and obviously picked up a few knocks throughout the years, i find it extremely difficult to have a sound nights sleep, having to correct my sleeping position constantly. However, since purchasing this i hardly ever have to correct my position, due to it being so comfortable, resulting in better sleep. So good, in fact i have just ordered 2 memory foam pillows from the company. Also the customer care is excellent......very friendly and genuine.

I can't promise that the Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress is going to sort out any aliments you may have, as everyone is different. All I can say is, this is the best mattress I have purchased. And believe me, I have purchased a few! I have specifically tried 2 other makes and models of Visco foam mattress, and these were either too soft, offering no support whatsoever, or so hard it eliminated the whole point of having a Visco foam mattress! My experience with Ergo Flex and the product has been 100% satisfactory. They delivered on time, were extremely courteous on the phone, and as it came rolled up and vacuum packed, it was the only one that was easy to get upstairs! As soon as you get into bed for the first time, you can tell this is something special. It feels different from most of the others I have tried in shops or bought. With the other mattresses I had, they were either so soft that parts of your back felt under stress, or so hard you had bad pressure points here and there. Neither of these were found with this mattress. I wasn't constantly turning to find a position to lie in which was comfortable. Just lie on it as you want, and it feels fine! In fact, just before writing this review, I went to bed and got up 14 hours later, which is unheard of, as I couldn't wait to get up before, and I sometimes dreaded going to bed! The price was extremely good value for money, at half the price of one of the other mattresses I tried which was not at all suitable. In summary, to have such a well made product, delivered on time for half the price of other makes, and that ticks all the boxes, has been exceptional!

Whatever you buy this year, buy one of these. We shopped around, this is by far the best. I used to get quite a lot of lower back pain on waking, this has totally resolved that and I get a fantastic night's sleep. As I have always had sprung mattresses it took me a week to get used to the different feel, but after that, absolute heaven! If you are new to these, don't be put off by the first few nights. I was also worried about getting hot, as I do sometimes at night and can be worse with these kind of mattress, but not with this as the design really effectively combats this. Don't even think about not buying one of these, don't go near any other brand and snatch the bargain of the year.

We purchased an Ergo Flex mattress 6 weeks ago. It took about a week to adjust, but now we wouldn't part with it for the world. Instead of dreading going to bed and tossing and turning all night, we look forward to sinking into a feeling of comfort and luxury, and we get a great nights sleep and waken refreshed. Like most people, I shopped around extensively before deciding to purchase, so let me save you some leg work. The Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress is a top class product; and they offer top class customer service! After comparing various memory-foam mattresses, we decided to take a gamble on the Ergo Flex, mainly due to the price and informative website. We had to wait a bit for a delivery date due to demand, but we were kept fully informed by the company, so no worries there. Customer service was great - from the initial enquiry right through to post-delivery. As for the product - I'm SO glad we went for the Ergo Flex. At a very competitive price, it has delivered all our expectations and more. Himself has already noticed less back pain (he's a martyr to it), and I am so pleased to find I'm not being woken up every time he moves around in his sleep! We haven't really noticed any over-heating, which apparently is a common complaint with memory-foam products. There's a bit of a new product whiff about it, but that's fading already, so we are very very pleased with our purchase. Oh, and one really funny thing - although we ordered a King-Size mattress, it came in a (relatively) TINY (though very heavy) box. I thought they'd got the order wrong, but it's vacuum packed and it expands in a few hours into the expected article! Very cool!!

With the other mattresses I had, they were either so soft that parts of your back felt under stress, or so hard you had bad pressure points here and there. Neither of these were found with this mattress. I wasn't constantly turning to find a position to lie in which was comfortable. Just lie on it as you want, and it feels fine! In fact, just before writing this review, I went to bed and got up 14 hours later, which is unheard of, as I couldn't wait to get up before, and I sometimes dreaded going to bed! The price was extremely good value for money, at half the price of one of the other mattresses I tried which was not at all suitable. In summary, to have such a well made product, delivered on time for half the price of other makes, and that ticks all the boxes, has been exceptional!

Whatever you buy this year, buy one of these. We shopped around, this is by far the best. I used to get quite a lot of lower back pain on waking, this has totally resolved that and I get a fantastic night's sleep. As I have always had sprung mattresses it took me a week to get used to the different feel, but after that, absolute heaven! If you are new to these, don't be put off by the first few nights. I was also worried about getting hot, as I do sometimes at night and can be worse with these kind of mattress, but not with this as the design really effectively combats this. Don't even think about not buying one of these, don't go near any other brand and snatch the bargain of the year.

We purchased an Ergo Flex mattress 6 weeks ago. It took about a week to adjust, but now we wouldn't part with it for the world. Instead of dreading going to bed and tossing and turning all night, we look forward to sinking into a feeling of comfort and luxury, and we get a great nights sleep and waken refreshed. This is the first time I have purchased a memory foam mattress and so initially I viewed several online memory foam mattress sites to gain some idea as to price, quality of product and service I might expect to receive. I was particularly impressed with ergoflex.co.uk. The web site was very informative and easy to navigate with a very detailed description (plus diagram) showing the composition of the memory foam mattresses which they sell. I have been particularly impressed by the high level of customer service I have received throughout my dealings with Ergo Flex - it has been both professional and personal. You are always kept informed (via email) from the time you place your order through to actually receiving it. Don't expect next day delivery. Good things come to those who wait without a doubt in my experience! Definitely a quality product at a very good price, with excellent customer service. Visit their online site and see for yourself, but believe me, the proof is in the "sleeping!"

Like most people, I shopped around extensively before deciding to purchase, so let me save you some leg work. You will struggle to find a better Memory Foam Mattress at a better price than the Ergo Flex product. In fact from my research, you could actually pay a lot more and get a lot less. When you also add in the excellent and personal customer service I received, it makes a pretty compelling set of reasons to buy. However the most powerful argument is simply that it is very comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending Ergo Flex to everyone.

The Ergo Flex Memory Foam Mattress is a top class product; and they offer top class customer service! After comparing various memory-foam mattresses, we decided to take a gamble on the Ergo Flex, mainly due to the price and informative website. We had to wait a bit for a delivery date due to demand, but we were kept fully informed by the company, so no worries there. Customer service was great - from the initial enquiry right through to post-delivery. As for the product - I'm SO glad we went for the Ergo Flex. At a very competitive price, it has delivered all our expectations and more. Himself has already noticed less back pain (he's a martyr to it), and I am so pleased to find I'm not being woken up every time he moves around in his sleep! We haven't really noticed any over-heating, which apparently is a common complaint with memory-foam products. There's a bit of a new product whiff about it, but that's fading already, so we are very very pleased with our purchase. Oh, and one really funny thing - although we ordered a King-Size mattress, it came in a (relatively) TINY (though very heavy) box. I thought they'd got the order wrong, but it's vacuum packed and it expands in a few hours into the expected article! Very cool!!

For the past 7 years I have suffered with an old uncomfortable spring mattress as my bedroom is in my loft and I couldn't buy a mattress to fit through the hatch. The Memory Foam mattress is vaccuum packed into a thin, long box and opens out into a comfortable double mattress and is the best I have slept on. My back ache has gone after one week. I have also bought a single mattress for my daughter. A good night's sleep is important and a comfortable bed is essential. Easy to order, delivery when requested. Packaging was genius, vacum packed enabled the mattress up the twisty stairs no problem. Once the packaging removed , reshaped within an hour and perfect by bed time. Smell wasn't too bad, I just aired the room once the packaging was removed. The mattress itself is so comfortable. The ergo flex mattress is fantastic! I was a little dubious about buying a product online but after reading other reviews on here we decided to buy one. It arrived on the day I selected and I have been really impressed. I haven't slept so well in ages. It stacks up against the Tempur mattress for quality but at 1/4 of the price.

We ordered a pair of custom sized memory foam mattresses (80cm x 200cm)to fit our Hypnos adjustable bed and they had to be made and then delivered as a special order, all through this process the Ergolflex team especially Margaret were excellent. Communication was very quick and surprising as I would often mail Margaret in the evenings and she would mail right back, that's dedication. Our Ergo Flex memory foam mattress arrived on the day we selected being perfectly packed.I can't imagine how Ergo Flex managed to pack a super size mattress into a nice roll.Our mattress rebounced into 20cm something within one hour or so,and it fully rebounced to 21cm on the night it arrived.We have been sleeping on it for two weeks.The overall experience is GREAT,no complaint at all.We're totally satisfied with Ergo Flex,from service to the mattress itself.If only we had Ergo Flex mattress earlier! I ordered my memory foam mattress from Ergo Flex's website on a Sunday night, fully expecting a week or so to wait for delivery, but I could choose any option from the Tuesday onwards. I chose the Thursday, and had everything confirmed by email very quickly. I then got an SMS message the day before and an email confirming that I would be receiving my mattress the next day. Sure enough, it arrived as expected. Still can't believe they fit it into the relatively small box it arrived in! It's a perfect product with a great 10 year guarantee (make sure you register within 30 days). Customer service (that I've experienced so far) has been fantastic and I couldn't ask for more. Of course it helped that they had a 50% sale on, but I still would have been happy if I'd paid the full price!

Although this mattress comes highly recommended and appears to be value for money, there are real issues that any prospective purchaser should consider carefully. The mattress is not at all firm. This means that, although the memory foam will mould itself to your body, which feels pleasant, the mattress allows you to bend at the hips. This means that you will still get a kink in your spine, whether lying on your side or your back. The second significant problem is that you will certainly get too hot after a short while on this mattress. I am usually too cold when using a conventional mattress, but on this mattress I am waking up in the middle of the night (in the dead of winter) sweating and throwing off the bedclothes. I have tried an "Outlast" mattress cover (some memory foam mattresses are already covered in this material) but it only made the problem worse. I understand that the Ergo Flex mattress is designed to combat this heating problem. All I can conclude is that the design just does not work. Whether there is a memory foam mattress that doesn't suffer from this problem, I have no idea. In conclusion, this appears to be a reasonable quality product at a reasonable price, but the significant problems mean that I can only give it a low rating and would not recommend it.

Very pleased with this Ergo Flex mattress and happy to recommend it. I was a little concerned on first receiving the mattress that it may be too firm for me, as I now suffer awfully with sciatica (incidentally, this started after a visit to a chiropractor to originally improve my relatively minor lower back pain and has left me with a much worse problem that has hampered my mobility and even forced me to purchase an automatic car at considerable additional expense - so be warned, chiropractors are not the same as osteopaths. I unfortunately learned this the hard way!) The ergo mattress however gives me excellent support and softens and shapes around me as it warms with my body heat. I have since learned that the material is intelligently made to soften with higher temperatures and it is this that transforms it from what is ostensibly a rather firm and initially austere surface to lie on, into a warm and perfectly moulded "custom" shaped surface providing support for my body and in particular my lower back and "problem area". Two months on, the mattress does still feel rather firm and cold when first getting in to bed - especially in the current cold snap. What's more, I am unable to use an electric blanket which I have enjoyed using for many years to warm my bed prior to bedtime to remove the chill in the winter months. That said, the facts are that I now sleep better than I can ever remember and have considerably more comfort and less pain when sleeping and waking. This mitigates these minor issues to negligible. I am genuinely surprised that something as simple as a new type of bed has provided such a considerable improvement for me physically and I feel much better rested and more alert during the day which is clearly the result of a more restful and fulfilling sleep. I happily recommend this as a worthwhile investment and was also impressed that I could also purchase a spare outer cover which makes laundering and linen changes much more simple.

In honesty I can't say how much better or worse the mattress is than alternative memory foam mattresses as it is the only one I have ever used. But that said, it certainly does do everything it says on the tin. I'm very happy with the purchase, I find it extremely comfortable and I believe it to be of good, lasting quality. I've had three friends stay over and try a night on the mattress; one exclaimed after just five minutes "I want one" (and purchased one too), another described the experience as "like sleeping in ice cream", one has a very bad back and expressed in the morning that he was in a lot less discomfort than usual. With anything purchased unseen over the internet there is a risk factor involved, but having taken that risk I can certainly say that I am not disappointed, indeeed I'm delighted with the mattress.

I decided to buy a Ergo Flex memory foam mattress because first of all the price. I don't think any memory foam mattress could ever beat the price that Ergo Flex offered comparing the quality and how depth of a memory foam you actually get. Hate to break it but I don't think a 5 cm's depth of 55d memory foam could be called 'memory foam mattress', so consider this-9cm of 85d memory foam out of the total depth of 21cm! Like most people I have done a fair amount of research on memory foam mattresses simply because they are generally expensive and didn't want to make the mistake of buying a bad one. Personally, I found the mattress far too hard, although my husband slept well on it. I know that there is a period of adjustment with these types of mattresses and I possibly would have kept the mattress if I had had more time to test it out and get used to it, as 7 days is nowhere near enough (hence the wisdom, I suppose, of Tempur allowing you to trial their mattresses for 60 days). All I can say is that it wasn't suitable for me. WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO STRESS TO ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING THIS MATTRESS IS THE RETURN FEES.....prior to buying, we were quoted £40-60 to return the mattress. What we weren't told is that on top of this there is a £20 admin charge and a £15 packaging fee. So all in all we've been told to we have to pay £97 to return a mattress which cost us £349 + £29.99 p&p.

I've waited one year before posting my review as I wanted to be sure that it was still great with use for a year. I'm happy to report that my Ergo Flex mattress is unbelievable quality and value for money compared with others. I did lots of research beforehand as I don't know who to trust when shopping online. This company was very professional and the service / delivery etc was great. I am hoping to buy pillows but I don't think they sell them separately.

We bought our first mattress early 2009 to replace an old spring mattress. It arrived quickly - but be warned it may come shrink packed but is still very heavy. We unpacked the mattress to allow it to breathe - the company say it may smell for a couple of days - for us this went on for more than a week which was no plesant but tolerable (we have other beds). Since that point it has been wonderful to live with, comfortable, not too hot. This is on a slatted base. We have since bought a second one for a standard Divan base, just as good - and did not smell for as long. Very recommended.

I've been sleeping on one of Ergo Flex memory foam mattress for over 3 month. I simply love the experience. It's like you float on it and the firmness is just right to support your body. The best thing I must say is their price, I did lots of research before buying Ergo Flex. Honestly with their price(on sale) I could only buy a 4-5cm's memory foam from other dealers, but Ergo Flex's memory foam is 9cm and total depth is 21cm!! It makes a whole lot difference. Two thumbs up for Ergo Flex!

Dithered over buying this mattress for a long time, then while on holiday went on a "blanket trip" that sold PAL products I was sceptical, but I researched it when I arrived home bought all the merino wool products for about half the cost of the "blanket trip" and ordered a Ergo Flex mattress straight away, the best investment I have ever made. The mattress we had before was a silentnight memory foam this cost more than the Ergo Flex but our previous mattress scored about 2 out of 10 and the Ergo Flex scores 10 out of 10 it is the best mattress I have ever purchased. Delivery service was excellent, and prior notice of delivery was confirmed by email the evening before, service and product 10 out of 10.

BE CAREFUL of what you read. I researched online for a long time before purchasing an Ergo Flex Deluxe 3rd Gen HD visco elastic mattress. After sleeping on Ergo Flex and having slept on tempur before, Ergo Flex is NOT comparable to a tempur, despite what they say/write. Ergo Flex beds are decent, but in no way molds to your body as well as a tempur. I would say, Ergo Flex is decently priced when its on sale, I bought the single for 229 pounds, but I would not get it at full price. Although its a lot cheaper than a tempur, which is why I bought it, you get what you pay for. Its definitely at least a notch below a tempur. Having said the above, I do think that sleep comfort is quite subjective. I like tempurs, but not all of them. They have several models, and I prefer some over others. I know people who don't like tempurs at all and prefer traditional beds. I have back problems and have done a lot of research, and personally tried out many "memory foam", "heat sensitive" beds at stores and at homes. The problem all memory foam shoppers encounter, is there's neither much if any scientific evidence supporting the benefits of these beds, nor is there a real standard that you can judge all of them with. In my opinion, you can only judge by your personal sleeping preferences, word of mouth and branding. Tempur is obviously the most famous, and though I feel it is very overpriced (which is why I opted for Ergo Flex), they are still one of the best i've tried so far (actually slept on one before). I say its the best based on 1) how well it molds to your body, 2) how supportive the material is without pushing back up into your body (which causes pressure), and 3) how well i sleep and 4) feel when I wake up. Based on these four criteria, I think Ergo Flex is significantly inferior to a tempur. I emphasize this because on the Ergo Flex website, they repeatedly mention they are comparable, and provide density, firmness, and Indentation Load Deflection (ILD) ratings that match those of Tempur. However, I want to stress that they certainly FEEL VERY DIFFERENT from tempurs and everything boils down to how the mattress actually feels. Numbers and ratings are only helpful if they can describe as close as possible how the product feels, and so if you are persuaded by Ergo Flex that you are buying a Tempur-like mattress from them, regardless of the price difference, think again. Have you read reviews from multiple sources? (i personally only found reviews on this website) I'm certainly not accusing Ergo Flex of lying about the ratings. My point is, if those ratings are indeed the same as a Tempur's, then that definitely means there are other criteria in assessing a memory foam bed that were not mentioned, because though they are the same on paper, they certainly are very different in actuality. I'm not against Ergo Flex. I think its a decent alternative at a lower price and subpar quality (compared to tempur). I opted for it because I was attracted to the price and they seemed a professional and reliable online company (which they are), but remained skeptical about the bed. My skepticism was confirmed by the arrival and actual experience of the bed. I hope my account can assist memory foam shoppers in their decision.

A SUPERB mattress at a reasonable price! Delivery happened as promised the following day, with a text message and email giving me the option to track the parcel should I wish to - very impressed. I have degenerative disc disease and arthritis, and this mattress has done wonders for both the pain relief and quality of sleep I get. (I previously couldn't stay in bed past 5am, now I regularly sleep until 8am). I don't toss and turn as much as I used to and find I manage to get off to sleep a lot quicker than than normal - all of which has done me the power of good as I feel like I have much more energy, and less reliance on my medication to boot. A great mattress and a good investment all round.

The product itself is brilliant, my first night sleeping on it was amazing,when I woke up in the morning I experienced no pain in my neck or back that I used to had in mornings. I felt 100% refresh. I recieved my Ergo Flex matress and with in a week of sleeping on it I noticed the difference in my lower back pain relief. Years of sleeping on a conventional mattress NOTHING compares to my Ergo Flex matress! An investment in a true good nights sleep. I'd only ever owned two mattresses in my adult life - a Myers that lasted over twenty years before giving up the ghost, and a Hypnos that gave me another fifteen years of comfort. Going by these two, I expect a mattress to give years of service and buying one certainly isn't something I take lightly. When I started researching mattresses this time around I was soon drawn into the world of memory foam, and embarked on something of a steep learning curve due to the slightly overwhelming amount of scientific information that retailers seem to insist on talking about. There is just so much out there to choose from. The little information that I could understand about memory foam mattresses intrigued me, "body moulding" and "full body support" being the most desirable sounding, and my heart was soon set on buying one. A surreptitious test on a couple of exorbitantly priced memory foam beds at my local bed shop made my mind up further. I soon narrowed my choices down, largely based on prices, and in the end opted for an Ergo Flex. I must say that the many positive reviews on this site played no small part in making my mind up. I'm now more than happy to add my own review to this list - as the Ergo Flex is fantastic. It provides everything that it claims to, and more. I won't go into major detail, as other people have done it on here far more eloquently than I ever could, but I will say that the feeling of being refreshed and well-rested in the morning is simply priceless. Although I did actually adore them when I had them, there's just no comparison between pocket sprung mattresses and memory foam. Out of the six weeks or so that I've been using the Ergo Flex I can say that I've slept soundly EVERY night, and restless nights seem to look like a thing of the past. Thank you Ergo Flex.
