Ergo Flex Mattress versus Market Leader

In the world of memory foam mattresses, Tempur-Pedic™ visco-elastic temperature sensitive pressure relieving material mattress is recognised as the market leader. Established as memory foam technology became commercially available to the public, Tempur-Pedic™ manufactures a range of high quality, high specification mattresses. At Ergo Flex, we believe our memory foam mattresses offer a viable great value high performance alternative to Tempur-Pedic™ mattresses, and we’re confident that on viewing the evidence, you will agree.

The most direct comparisons between
memory foam mattresses can be made on composition, quality and price. While there are a number of low-cost memory foam mattress products available, the vast majority are inferior in terms of materials and performance, and cannot be realistically compared to mattresses at the very top-end of the market. We’re so sure of the quality of Ergo Flex memory foam mattresses that we can happily put them head-to-head against the market leader so you can see the results for yourself.

Composition: Ergo Flex’s deluxe 3rd generation visco-elastic memory foam mattress is made up of 9cm memory foam, 4cm ‘cool-sleep’ air-flow system, 9cm high resiliant base support layer, inner cover and luxurious Jacquard outer cover – making up a total depth of 22cm.  The Tempur-Pedic™  15cm depth ‘Combi’ mattress contains 7cm of TEMPUR material and 8cm high resiliant polyurethane foam – making the Ergo Flex and Tempur-Pedic™ mattress similar in dimension and layer composition.

Quality: Both mattresses use a similar high density, impact resistant polyurethane foam for their base layer. Ergo Flex uses 9cm of 5.3lb (85kg/m3) density memory foam, Tempur-Pedic™ uses 7cm of 85kg/m3 density TEMPUR material – meaning that both mattresses are at the top-end of the market.

Price: The Tempur-Pedic™  ‘Combi’ king-size costs £1499, due to its high quality performance. The king-size Ergo Flex, with its comparable high quality performance and composition, costs £799.

So, we have two high quality, high performing mattresses of similar quality and composition – and one huge difference in price.
