Sharing a bed can often mean that another person's restlessness becomes your own. Contrasting body weights can lead to an uneven mattress, one side may sag more, so that the whole mattress is unable to perform effectively. Traditional sprung mattresses are usually the main culprit when it comes to sustained periods of wakefulness. Mattresses that sag, lose their bounce or become lumpy are not the most inviting of sleeping surfaces to return to night after night. Finding a comfortable position easily and quickly is the key to the experience of a serene sleep. A memory foam mattress provides the body with the instant support it needs to drift off into slumber.

Differing tastes may also lead to a less than happy sleeping environment. One half of a couple may prefer a soft mattress, while the other may favour a stiffer mattress. A memory foam mattress keeps both parties happy, as it is tailored to the needs of the individual. It supports the sleeper in a cradle of comfort, where an incredible structure made up of billions of spherical shaped open cells mould to each contour of the body.

A memory foam mattress allows both partners to benefit from a restful night's sleep, which means tolerance is increased while irritability is reduced, leading to a relationship built on nights of slumberous bliss, without the extra pressure of fatigue.

A memory foam mattress also counteracts against the problem of 'roll together', where both partners move into the centre of a bed in an uncomfortable arrangement. The memory foam mattress distributes weight evenly so that each partner can enjoy their own space in comfort.

Pregnancy is another major sleep obstacle that can face a couple. As a baby bump continues to grow, comfortable sleeping positions become fewer and sleep proves to be a more difficult. This can lead to restlessness that is not easily soothed, with tossing and turning that keeps both parties up most of the night. A memory foam mattress takes care of these problems, by supporting the expectant mother in serenity, relieving pressure to create a weightlessness that grants the sleeper valuable rest. This then allows the other partner to enjoy sleep in peace, taking care of a problem that could otherwise last months. It also provides both parents with quality rest, before the birth of their child marks a change in sleeping habits.
